Cannabis. It is one of the most discussed drugs in the range. According to some life-threatening, according to others again completely harmless. Professor Wayne Hall wants now after 20 years of research and a different world had arisen: "Cannabis is indeed a dangerous drug."
There will a lot of voices that believe that cannabis smoking is not very harmful to your health. The drug was not addictive and have little effect on long-term health. "Complete nonsense," sounds with Professor Wayne Hall from King's College London, who advises the World Health Organisation. "Cannabis is highly addictive, causes mental health problems and paves the way for hard drug free."
"If cannabis is not addictive, it is heroin that is not," Hall makes some arguments to the ground. "It's harder to quit than heroin cannabis. It is usually accompanied by anxiety, insomnia, disorders of your diet and depression. Even after treatment begins, more than half within six months again."
It is true that it is impossible to take an overdose of cannabis, but that makes the drug no less dangerous. "There is the risk of cancer and heart problems, but especially the mental effects are dangerous." Hall indeed found a clear link with psychosis and schizophrenia, especially in teenagers. The risk of mental problems even doubles if you smoke cannabis.
Who smokes, it also does a lot less intellectually, and drive the car after smoking doubles your chances of an accident. Pregnant women are also at risk: the weight of the baby suffers under strong smoking the drug.
Hall hopes to once and for all the misunderstandings on cannabis to help the world. "It's dangerous, and it is time that governments and authorities to take action against this drug." Legalization was in his view not the right option. "In recent decades, people are increasingly seeking help for cannabis addiction, even in countries where the use is legal."
Normally I use Cannabis as a weight loss supplement.
I smoke everyday all day and find that when I get hungry it does curb my appetite
Here are my cliff notes … The body has its own endocannabinoid system. Hence, We like to smoke cannabanoids.
The ECS is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory, and in mediating the psychoactive effects of cannabis.
So it's logical to think that when the receptors for appetitive have cannabanoids attached to them that the feeling of hunger dissipates.
Personally I smoke when I am hungry to give me another activity to do instead of eating. I also use it in the morning with my coffee as it acts as a speed ball of sorts and I enjoy disassociating from hunger and pain as much as possible.
